Is a contactless control method, by hand approaching, having the sensor mounted behind the plaster wall , wood, glass , plastic, but not metallic or electrically conductive. The sensor is actuated through the wall finishing material by simply approach the hand to the area where the sensor is mounted. The switching distance is about 60...80mm from the active electrode of the sensor to hand.
I_switch is sold in two options: I_switch_IoT and I_switch_DIY
Is designed to work with the I_base module. The two pulse type outputs (OUT1 and OUT2) will be HIGH for 100msec successivelly, at each approach of the sensor hand. At startup, after offset stabilization, both are LOW. At the first approach of the hand OUT1 will be HIGH for 100 msec, at the second approach of the hand OUT2 will be HIGH for 100msec. At the third approach OUT1 will be HIGH again and so on. This behavior allows the control of two relays (and two bulbs respectively) contained in the I_base module. This type of output (pulse) can be easily passed through the OR function allowing several I_switch to be connected in parallel (up to 12 pieces) in order to be able to control the light from several points in the room. The first two photos shows the product (I_SWITCH_IoT) as it will be delivered, the next two show a flush installation mode on your plaster wall.These two pictures show a way in which the product can be used. A simplified version of the I_switch presented in the fifth photo contains a serial UART output that transmits a numerical value representing the hand to sensor distance. Has no frontal LED.
