Read More…The IOX-BREAKOUT board is a companion development and programming tool for the ABBY-IOX-xxx I/O Co-Processor modules. The breakout board provides connections to all available I/O pins and serial bus types (I2C, UART, and SPI). The board also has a connector for the ST-LINK V2 programmer/debugger (available here). A 32 pin socket with a pogo-pin array allows quick change for rapid programming and test. All signals from the IOX module are routed to 0.1" headers for convenient connection using Dupont style jumper wires. The board also features a green power LED and a user programmable red LED connected to IOX pin 10 (GPIO4).
As stated above, the IOX-BREAKOUT board provides a quick connect (pogo-pin) socket and clamp fixture for the ABBY-IOX-xxx modules. This allows quick change without the need to solder directly to the module. The breakout board supports the STMicroelectronics ST-LINK V2 programmer/debugger and the STM32CubeIDE development software tools. It is also possible to program and debug the modules using the PlatformIO development environment.
