For 4dapter: Switch / MiSTer Retro Controller Adapter
I picked up a couple of the DIY Triple Controller kits last year so I could use my OEM controllers with my then-brand-new MiSTer and they blew me away with not just the quality of their parts, but also their documentation. This new version is no different! You get the same build quality of the originals, now with a GLORIOUS N64 addition!!! I ordered four kits right when they were posted (N64 on the MiSTer, no-brainer) and after finally finding the time to assemble my first one a few nights ago, I can report that everything soldered together quite intuitively. The ONE thing to watch out for is to not heat up the pins of the N64 port too much, as it seems like the plastic used for that connector may be of a bit lower quality than the others. I did manage to start melting the plastic a bit upon my first attempt (even with a temperature-controlled soldering iron), but fear not! Our dear seller must know that this is an issue, as my order came with with multiple spares without me even knowing that would happen! A+!!!
But yeah! I just wanted to provide another little glowing review after getting through the hard part, as all that's left is to fire up the 3D printer for the case and flash the firmware! (And assemble the other three, obviously... hehe)
