Genius, or only smart?
For ESP32-C3-WROOM-02-N4 Breakout Board
A DevKit, or garden-variety breakout, will take up the full width of a solderless breadboard, leaving one pin (sometimes less!) for connections. Or you can use this breakout, let the chip hang off the end if you're really that short on legroom, and everything hooks up with no pain and no need for chess-master strategy to figure out where to put the wires.
Regarding the question at the top of the review, the solution to the problem is simple, obvious, and I never thought of it and neither did anyone I know. So I think it's a bit like the old story about Christoper Columbus standing an egg on end. Anyone can do it, but if I'm so damned smart, how come I didn't think of it? If I wore a hat I'd take it off to you.
There was no documentation or communication, and none needed, so I'll assume they'd rate five stars if they existed.Unusually quick for Canada Post to U.S.
If I could have one wish, there would be spots for optional resistor and cap for power-on reset.
