Clever device. It's a lot of fun to go out in the garden with a pair of headphones and setup shop next to a pumpkin for an hour. I can't really tell what the plants respond to (other than interference from human touch), but I would compare the randomness to wind chimes, not the sound, that could be anything that you want to connect, but the gentle clamoring of notes in no particular order. I'm already interested in purchasing a second kit to try some different soundscapes and I would purchase from this seller again.
This product was exactly what I was looking for, something to generate random MIDI notes under a scale with the input from natural environment. It arrived with all the items needed to start, all I needed to do was plug in my MIDI cable and attach the sensors to something and then out poured all the notes.
I had a little bit of an initial problem in that my MIDI cable was a bit wider than the hole in the 3-D printed box. Additionally I couldn't seem to set a new MIDI-channel (which defaults to 1). So I msg'ed Manuel and he said to ship it back and he would do an update. I got the box back and he had 3-D printed a new one with a wider hole as well as updated the firmware and printed a new manual with easier ability to set the MIDI-channel. Super smooth and very helpful! Now everything works beautifully.
Well worth the price and really satisfied with the purchase as well as the whole transaction. Thank you!
I need entropy for my small headless servers - previously I've been using ubld.it TrueRNG, but I couldn't properly reboot my servers when I left them in the USB-port (I had to unplug them, reboot and then during/after startup I could re-insert them to have them start properly).
This is not a problem with the Infinite Noise TRNG + they provides entropy a bit faster! Installation/compiling was pretty straightforward on Gentoo Linux.
I will certainly choose again if I decide to expand my serverrack :)

Great product ! it is really easy to use it with the documentation the shipping is ok barely 1 week from Germany to France I would like to use it for a project with mushrooms and Manuel is really helpful i defintely recommend this device and this seller !
I Believe This Is A Better Version Of A Midi Sprout. Its Very Well Made & Easy To Use. Ive Had Alot Of Fun With It Since I Received It Two Weeks Ago. Shipping Took About Two Week From Germany To California . I Would Definitely Recommend This Device To Anyone Looking For A New Experience With Sound & Plants!
I love this product, it is truly amazing to hear the plants make music. So far I have recorded a few house plants plus the Oak tree in the garden, each plant is different and the Oak tree was incredible you could tell it was a tree by the music it made, a mix of high and really deep notes. I am a beginner at this sort of thing but was able to set up the device and got it working almost straight away. To connect it to your computer you need an adapter, Manuel, the seller, was really helpful in explaining the type of adapter I needed, midi to usb, and I found a cheap one on Amazon which works just fine.
The next thing was software for my computer, again I'm not an expert on midi software, I found a very simple system called MidiEditor, free to download, which plays the music, you can choose which instrument you wish to use and you can record the sounds. The software is limited but it's great for beginners like me. I have even made a few cds for personal use by converting the midi file online to mp3 and then editing it a little in Audacity (free music editing software) adding a bit of reverb for effect etc.
I gave shipping 4 stars because the German post mis-sorted my package, it happens, but Manuel was there chasing it up, he was extremely helpful.
I would definitely buy this product again, in fact I may well do, so I can hear 2 plants at the same time.
All around a great experience. Manuel shipped quickly, the product worked as described and came with good directions. Furthermore, Manuel was a great communicator and very helpful. I sent him a message and he responded right away with help. Recommend!!!
Manuel was great from the beginning of the purchase to the end. He also was generous with his time to work through the troubles of Christmas shipping challenges. The device looks great. well made, and comes with everything he said it would.
This is a great little board, now you can discover the sonic world of plants and even yourself, you become the synth controller using the natural rhythms of your body. A great tool for discovering new sonic worlds. I cannot leave a review without saying how good Manuel was there were some issues with my first board (probably my fault) and he was absolutely brilliant in getting every thing sorted and up and running.
