Bought this because I needed to charge some "9V" NiMH batteries, which it handled soundly. I like the amount of status information you get (both for your settings and the battery's state of charge). Just remember to insulate the board from the metal container (the USB shroud touching is fine, but the charge contacts def should not touch it!) -- I used a silicone conformal coating plus a few dollops of silicone glue to elevate it off the case.
Works great with the 8.4V and 9.6V NiMH PP3's I've tried in it!
