Fixed my MV1B

For NEO-BUF replacement

Quite difficult to install but I got there in the end :). I didn't manage to install successfully by drag soldering with a knife tip so I went with the following approach:
-Desoldered the dirty NEO-BUF patch with SnBi low melt solder and cleaned up the pads with wick.
-Placed the replacement NEO-BUF board down and held in place securely with two strips of kapton tape once aligned.
-Soldered all corners with 0.5mm 5core leaded solder and a 0.8mm chisel tip.
-Soldered vertically up the trace to the edge pushing solder in to each of the castellated edges.
-Removed bridges with 60-2-5 Chemtronics wick and re-soldered these points
-Continuity checked each point
-Fired up KoF 98 :).

Additional flux seemed to be my enemy in this job!

Excellent products

For PCM chip replacement

I'm a big fan of all Furrtek's work, especially these replacement parts, it's great to have someone supporting repair of the original boards. Hopefully there will be a NEO-C1 replacement in future as I have a dead board waiting ;)

Perfect

For NEO-BUF replacement

Good quality board, and perfectly working. My MV1ACHX, which had a bypassed NEOFUB and reboots very frequently when using a 161 in 1 multicart, is now working flawlessly.
