I create open source products that are reliable, repairable, and trustworthy. I feel that technology should function with or without the internet. Companies should not be able to remotely disable your devices because they decide to discontinue their product.
I personally use, maintain and support all the products I have in this store. I do this because I want people to have the option to buy technology that lasts, and allows them to be independent. Technology should work for the users. You should not be the product.
The name of the store comes from the idea that we can make the future a brighter place, where people don't have to worry about corporations "sunsetting" the products that people have come to rely on.
