Big bang for your buck!

For Rockit flight computer

I have been very impressed with how much this little board packs! Other flight computers with similar capabilities cost around 300 dollars. This is such a good deal I was somewhat skeptical when I first bought it, but am glad I did. The package was slightly roughed up from shipping, however other than that everything was perfect. Dan has been really good at responding and offering help. I am really impressed with the board and plan on recommending it to my local rocket club. I am very happy with this product and would recommend the product 10/10.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Make sure you have the right polarity when plugging a battery into the computer otherwise you risk breaking it.

Reverse polarity protection is required.

For Rockit flight computer

My son grabbed and accidentally connected the battery with inverted polarity as there are a lot of batteries with both versions in the market and we have both types of them. The controller is dead now, only USB port is still showing some signs.
I really recommend to add some protection for inverted polarity, it's a pity to broke it in a such easy way.

I'm sorry to hear that your controller broke because of battery reverse polarity. The user manual indicates the correct battery polarity and the associated risks of reverse polarity. However, I do understand that with the excitement of using a flight computer for the first time one might overlook the user manual. Therefore, I have shipped you a new flight computer free of charge.

This is a valuable learning experience and I will implement robust reverse polarity protection in future designs.

Such an awesome product

For Flight Controller Rev 1

I brought this flight controller as I wanted more reliable parachute deployment, and also an idea on the altitude for my water rockets.
With no experience using circuit boards, I found it was relatively easy to set up and get going following the Youtube tutorials.
I use the flight controller in apogee mode and it works great, even if somthing goes wrong during launch the parachute still deploys at apogee.
I have had one crash from 100m(not due to the flight controller), and I was really impressed to find the controller was unaffected and still working.
Reviewing to data from the flights is also really interesting and a great feature, being csv format for use Microsoft excel makes this a simple task.
Thanks Daniel, we have had hours of with your product and it has taken our water rockets to new heights.
