As much as I appreciate this project and the project itself looks really cool, unless some of the parts don't work as intended.
The seller / manufacturer becomes a red flag for community, mostly because of refusing to take responsibility (if you are in the community you will understand what am I talking about). In my case there is defect in the screen, it makes noise. He told me that's software bug, which isn't true. I made my tests. He stopped communicating with me. He doesn't reply here on Tindie at all, but I have his other products on other platforms, btw which was treated well, but that's another story and that's in the past.
All I'm saying is BE AWARE, after you purchase this device you will be on your own no matter what.
Something really shady about all this, no I am not talking about software part, that's completely different topic, which he btw tried to blame.
Honestly he can offer to ship me a small part to replace (I guess that's noisy LCD inverter) . That what I expected from him, based on my experience, but he chose not to communicate instead, whatever.
