It's probably one of the best all-in-one controller-charger combo that you can get on the market and the price is ridiculous for what it delivers. I highly suggest this product to professionals. It took me a while to figure it out and I'm "a novice", I wish there was some software with a gui already compiled, to test it out immediately, but it's not a deal-breaker. Nevertheless, the github page is more than enough to get you started. Highly suggested. The quality is astounding.

I wanted to play with this chip, but the dev board by the manufacturer is too expensive. This product was perfect for learning about the chip and support circuitry, and implementing it. the documentation is perfect. the included python script is well documented and easy to use, and fairly portable. it works great and is nice and easy to use. I recommend this, its great for development or hacking something together.
It is not simple to find a buck-boost module that needs only to be coupled with wide range input voltage, the batteries and a single-board microcontroller like Arduino to control in real-time the battery charge current. This module does it very well! A revision 2.0 of this module with a pin for Vsys would be perfect.
