An excellent little mixer. Easy to build and easy to use!

For ASMR - A Simple Mixer Right?

This kit is easy to build, and the mixer is great. Would recommend! I bought two at once, and one kit arrived without the stereo jacks it needs, but Kristian was quick to respond and put the jacks in the mail asap!

For GRIS, a throughhole version of the MI GRIDS

Early this year I was thinking about generating drum patterns, so I googled about it and then I found about `GRIDS` and this made convince to start playing with music creation again and dive into the Eurorack rabbit holde.

Emilie already stopped with Mutable Instruments by then so buying a new original one was out of scope. I could have bought a clone and played with software only derivatives, then I came here, solder through GRIS made with so much passion.

So finally I will built 2 myself, thank you Kristian!!

Shipment took less then a week to the Netherlands, thanks!!!

absolutely perfect

For +/-12V and 5V Powersupply for Eurorack

I was building a station for calibrating my builds I did not want to over tax the power supplies for my euro-racks and needed a small but robust PS, the price , speed in shipping, and simplicity made this unit perfect, 1/2 hr build and I was able to mod the build to my specific needs , too cool, thank you very much, I will be in touch for more kits! Nice little PSU with an issue

For +/-12V Powersupply for Eurorack or DIY synths

I bought two of those PSUs almost 3 years ago and I finally build one up for a small eurorack case. It is a nice PCB with a small footprint. But the first time I powered some of my modules with it I realized something is strange. There was a weird (cross) modulation type of effect on the output signals of the VCOs. I had another look at the board and remembered why I was a bit sceptical about the design and especially with the values of the 470uf filtering caps. My gut told me that this value is way too low. And yes, the value is too low to completly filter out the 50hz/60hz oscillation of the AC input and to prevent crosstalk between the modules. This causes all kind of weird frequency modulation in the system and becomes very much noticeable with VCOs. Luckily there is an easy fix for that issue. I soldered a pair of 3300uf caps in parallel with the 470uf caps and the problem was solved. No more weird fluttering and unstable sounds. Another thing to be aware of is the fact that there is no mounting hole on the pcb which can be a bit of an annoyance.

For MU ltiple - A simple passive multiple for modular

I love it. I replaced my 6 HP card that did the same thing with this card. It works great. I also upgraded to "better" quality Thonk connectors when I built it. It was confusing for about 10 seconds until I realized that the ground holes are shared between adjacent connectors - neat idea - I may need to do that myself to get connectors closer.

This a very friendly and pretty easy to build kit. The only trouble I had was with the led buttons. Don't be like me, check the video instructions to understand how to place them correctly :)

The module works and sounds really well (omg, those drums are massive)

OMG so Kristian is so cool, he labeled all resistors and caps so it was very easy to put it all together, also the pcbs are very well spaced and everything is clearly marked AND bonus you also have a building video to check anytime you feel lost. One of the best kit building experiences ever! And Kristian is one of my favorite DIYers and video content producers.

This PCB kit is a great starting point for building your own MI Braids. You will have to source the components yourself but that is easy since it is standard components that are easy to get hold of. The frontpanel looks great!

Great tool for prototyping

Great kit! The tinned bare traces on black matte solder mask looks quite nice.

It took a month to Western Canada, but for an over-Christmas shipment (and with all the other crap going on lately) covering that much distance for that low of a price, I can't complain. Sourcery had great communication when I grew impatient. There was something about a tracking number being automatically applied, but not ever registering in the PostNord online tracking system, so I was getting worried that it never made it past his post office.

I would've liked to see text & photo instructions, but the video works too. I had a little trouble with the 'shared' ground tabs causing jack misalignment when I went to put the panel on, but that's what I get for not checking out the instructions first. It turned out fine in the end.

I like the circuit design a lot! Previously I only had a DIY'd (protoboard) dual 3-way multi, and getting a fourth in there meant wasting two jacks and a cable - so it's quite an upgrade. It'd be sweet to see a version of it with an SPDT switch, for example, sending one rhythm to one of two different voices, or selecting a rhythm for one voice from two different sources.

DIYers must have

For POW - Modular Power Panel

Great tool for diy-modulebuilding. Having a power rail on front panel makes life easier. Only missing star is from the front socket beeing too deep compared to panel. For general safety it might be handy to have cover for the socket included

Thanks for the feedback. I want to comment that I do send along an empty 16 pin socket, that is supposed to be used as a cover for the front panel socket.

There's always a use for a multiplier. The design is quite genius for its simplicity and the front panel is cool as hell. I'd recommend it for beginners and advanced alike. It's a must-have utility module.
