The Simple Wifi RS232 Modem v2 arrived only two days (!) after I ordered it (Italy to Germany) and I was able to quickly get started: just plug it into the RS32 port of your (retro) machine and fire up your terminal software (default speed is 1200 baud). Then run AT+CONFIG and you're ready to go. Based on the well-known Zimodem firmware, this piece of hardware is a must-have for every reto collector with a desire to connect their old machines to BBSes and other online services.
I just wished there was a choice of male or female connectors. My Apple II Super Serial Board comes with a female connector, so I had to get a gender changer. No big deal. Other than that the modem works well and opens a Pandora box of fun activities. To do next: some kind of dongle to steal power from the Apple II.
