This is a great evaluation board to try learn about FPGA and SOC designs. You get a really nice FPGA chip (which lets you build any digital hardware) and an ARM processor (which lets you run Linux or your own bare-metal programs at 925MHz).
Then, there are the peripheral devices you can use:
There is also an HSMC connector and a 40-pin GPIO connector if you want to hook up to some other hardware.
Use Altera's excellent Quartus Prime software to get your VHDL or Verilog (or SystemVerilog) designs synthesized and configured into the chip.
Program the SOC with C language programs (or, I suppose, pretty much anything, once you have Linux running on it).
You can find out more at the Terasic website. I can't include links here, but it should be easy to find on your own.
Condition: Very good. All components are included and operational. Unit is still in box. Board has a label with the FPGA version on it, and I've applied a label to the power brick.
