These are the LiFePO4 AA cells that I use in my LiFePO4wered products. Now available separately, in case you want some extras.
LiFePO4 is one of the newer lithium chemistries. Some of the advantages are a very stable 3.2V output voltage during most of the discharge cycle, high power density, low internal resistance, long shelf life, safe chemistry, wide temperature range and a high number of recharge cycles (1000+).
I have been so impressed with these batteries that I've actually begun using them as replacements for regular alkaline and NiMH AA's. Since their voltage is about double that of a regular AA battery, I use half LiFePO4, half dummy (conductor) cells such as these and they work great!
WARNING: Only use these with equipment intended to be used with LiFePO4 3.2V cells, such as LiFePO4wered/USB, or if you use them in equipment that is made for regular 1.5V AA cells, you need to do so in combination with dummies as described above to get the voltage right. Do this only if you know what you're doing, I'm not responsible if you blow up your stuff with these! :-) Also, only charge them in a charger that is made for LiFePO4, such as my LiFePO4wered/USB modules.
