I was tired of alligator clips or having to ask a friend to hold a wire or Component while it was doing soldering. Super for soldering, gluing , painting.
Hand made on a lathe, knurled top to have a good grip, i make the holder from 2 different materials Aluminium and Brass. so you can choose . the Holder has a magnet at the bottom for extra support, you can stick it to you vertical computer case if you want. You need to screw in the top to clamp your workpiece, Diameter about 16 mm, total height about 35 mm
