Basically a 4-channel relay module (DIY kit). But besides the 4 separated standard sink/source inputs, it can connect to I2C (max. 8 modules cascadable) and to Wifi. The easiest way to get started is to open the Arduino sketch, add your Wifi name, password, gateway and IP client address, and upload the sketch to the module. Now just any device with a web browser (smart phone, laptop, smart TV etc.), which is in the same network, can access the tiny server, running on the Wifi module, and switch the 4 relays on and off independently by clicking on a simple link.
There is no product like this. All the "SONOFF" products for example can switch a light wirelessly, but don't add the great advantage of standard relay functionality and I2C bus operation like our "Smarter Relays 4.2" module. And, perhaps, maker/hobbyists don't by ready-to-go products in plastic enclosures, right?
It has the exact same function like all the Chinese relay modules have you can get with 1-2-4-8-16 channels. But it adds wireless control, using a WEMOS D1 mini module, and it also adds I2C bus capability to connect to microcontrollers with just a 2 wire bus and GND.
Assembling instructions, parts list and schematics are part of the download.
