This is easily powered by a standard 8x eurorack power supply on the +5V rails. And any MIDI serial traffic coming into the module will be reflected by an activity light.
You can choose to plug your MIDI input into the top front jack OR the top back jack. The MIDI input is normaled to the back. The input on the back is the default MIDI input unless something is plugged into the MIDI input on the front of the module.
Width - 2hp
Height - 3u
Depth - 50 mm with power jack (1.97 inches)
A friend asked us if we could make them a midi-thru that had ports on the inside and outside of the rack - so here we are!
If you put a bipolar oscillating waveform output into the input of the M2M, the M2M will output a square wave and varying the waveform will change the duty cycle of that square wave. So, this can be used as a 1-bit bit-crusher where amplitude can be pulse-width modulation! It sounds awesome.
