Welcome friend, any questions I'm available at TinkerElectric.com
This is a unique clock that displays the time elegantly in words instead of numbers! With the push of a button the colour of light will change; Red, Blue, Green, Purple, Teal, Pink. The kit includes everything needed to put it together bar the frame which is designed to be compatible with one readily available at Ikea.
I wanted to make something unique and that got a second look by a passer by. This clock certainly has achieved that goal. It is also made to be affordable and something that can be built at home.
I've made multiple iterations to arrive at this one. Each letter is addressable, multiple colours are programmed in, and it is all arranged to maximise the ease of putting it together.
The code and hardware is open source so you have the ability to re-program the clock and customise it just how you want.

I'm John, I run Tinker Electric (http://www.tinkerelectric.com/) in Australia. We are obsessed with making interesting products that invoke curiosity and intrigue, but are functional too!
My background is in electronics engineering but have been tainted by software and what was needed to get the job done. As a result I know a lot about nothing.
I've programmed mine sites, cloud systems, micro controllers. Designed electronics for Internet Of Things applications, toys, farming equipment (one to track sheep having sex), an automatic cocktail maker to boot.
Couple more that I'm allowed to talk about here: http://www.tinkerelectric.com/portfolio/
Look forward to chatting.
