The Kit

This kit includes all the components needed to make the module, as shown in the first picture. Other modules and backplanes shown in the other pictures are not included. You will require tools, solder, and cleaning materials to assemble this kit. The Compact Flash card adapter is supplied fully assembled so there are no surface mount components to solder.

The kit can be built to either mount the CF card horizontally or vertically.

You will need to source a suitable CompactFlash card. Older, relatively low-capacity (up to 2GB) cards are usually the best choice. Some cards may not work with this simple 8-bit IDE interface, especially more modern, high-capacity, high-speed cards.

Great board for adding functionality to my RC2014.

Great simple kit that worked perfectly after building it.

Even got CP/M installed and running beautifully on it.
