What is it?

A simple kit to build a Garage Door Left Open Notifier (v1.2).

This kit uses a tilt switch to detect the garage door state, open or closed. When the door is left open for more than 5 minutes, an email is sent to remind you to close it.

1 Year battery life! The power hungry Nodemcu spends most of its time turned off, conserving battery. It gets turned on by the Holtek HT68F001 when the tilt switch changes state and reports the change over the wireless network. The whole system uses only .80 milli amps while waiting for door to open or close.

Requires a computer, not included, that can run nodejs and receive the alert from the Nodemcu and send an email.

Please note this is for the Amica Nodemcu, with 49mm x 26mm dimensions.
