RasQberry is a fun project to explore Quantum Computing and Qiskit with a Raspberry Pi and a 3D Printer. See GitHub Documentation.
You can choose to add
a pre-installed SD-Card with RaQberry Software (16GB, pre-installed Qiskit, Raspberry OS, Raspberry Software + Quantum Demos),
a cable-free setup with an internal battery pack (5000mAh Powerbank, compatible USB-Cable, precise connector and on-off-switch fittings for the powerbank, spacers to hold the Powerbank in place are included),
or acrylic glass and LED lighting as shown (ring with 12 individaully controllable LEDs including fitting cables and wiring that allows to install an optional CPU fan included with the display).
Some post processing of the 3D printed parts (filing fittings) will be necessary. The other elements can be added DIY as described in the mentioned GitHub repository.
RasQberry provides an interesting starting position for exploring Quantum Computing with Qiskit. With a Raspberry inside it can run Quantum Circuits as local simulations, as well as connect to real Quantum Computers via Internet.
The enclosure imitates the commercially available Quantum Computer "System One" from IBM.
Computing power can be provided by a Raspberry Pi of your choice (not included). A Raspberry Pi 4 is recommended for use with Qiskit. As for the TFT-Display we recommend this 4" Touchscreen HDMI 800x450 display, which can be bought here.
RasQberry was designed for and with Qiskit in mind. The aim was to create a fun and unique way to approach Quantum Computing with the Raspberry Pi. With room for a small Power-bank in the base, the model can easily be operated cable-free. There are tutorials online on how to install and run Qiskit as well as control a Raspberry remotely.
