With an ENIG plating finish, the Golden Turd SAO is quite literally made of gold! It is said that when people come into possession of the Golden Turd, they will be overcome with greed, leading to them going power-hungry and turning into villains. Many famous and great leaders have fallen to the power of the jewel-encrusted hunk of gold. Will you be immune to its spell?

My second SAO I designed for the #badgelife community! I wanted to go a bit more complex than my first SAO, so the Golden Turd runs on an ATtiny85. Using charlieplexing I was able to drive 10 LEDs via PWM, with only four pins. Also, wanting to add an interactive element, I added a button so you can choose from 12 different bling modes:

• 2) Random Wave
• 3) Chase
• 4) Marquee
• 5) Glow
• 6) Crazy
• 7) ???
• 8) 100% Power
• 9) 75% Power
• 10) 50% Power
• 11) 25% Power
• 12) Off

This "Shitty Add-On" (SAO) is made for use with electronic badges that are capable of powering SAOs via the V.1.69bis (SAO.69) standard.

The Golden Turd SAO comes preassembled (2x3 SAO header already soldered on), so just plug it into any badge or SAO powering device to enjoy!
