A 12" Diameter Laser Cut Baltic Birch Base with Two 5mm Foamboard covers that are pre-scored using a C02 laser int 25mm (~1") squares. Put on a turning lazy susan base, it makes an amazing foundation for terrain that all of your players can access.
Inspired by Professsor Dungeon Master on his channel "Dungeon Craft". He did a project called "Ultimate Dungeon Terrain". His build took a fair bit of crafting, so I pondered how I could make it easier for folks. I recently got my hands on a new laser engraver than can do up to 12x20. I then discovered that I could cut and score foamboard with it.
It's designed to be a quick and easy way for you to add stone or wood foundations to your gaming design. I attached the foam to the wood with some tacky glue and then textured the foam using cooking foil to give it a stone texture. 1 coat of Black Mod Podge, Drybrush with a grey, then a creamy grey and I was done.
It's Easy. It's an evenings work. 2 foamcore pieces are included, allowing you to do wood on one side and stone of the other!
