What is it? This is a simple 3D printed enclosure for the LocoNet breakout board if you wish to have it mounted and protected. The bottom part is red, the cover is black. A screw from the bottom holds the two parts together. Openings on each side allow for screwing the breakout board assembly to the layout. On one side are openings for the 2 LocoNet plugs, the other side has an openings to connect the Grove cable and the DC supply to the breakout board.
Why did you make it? A real maker of course prefers to print his own enclosure, but here's a solution in case you do not have a 3D printer.
What makes it special? It's just available in case you need it.
