A highly accurate CO₂ monitor that shows a running graph of CO₂ concentration over time.
High CO₂ values are detrimental to human functioning, and are also indicative of poor ventilation and thus higher risk of airborne viral infections.
It is important to know what the CO₂ level is in your home, and how it changes throughout the day, or from day to day.
This monitor lets you zoom in/out on the time line using a very satisfying CLICK CLICK CLICK turn knob.
See the concentration changes over the last 30 minutes, or last 30 hrs, it is all possible! See both today's and yesterday's measurements in one go! Every vertical line is one hour.
This monitor uses the top of the line SCD-41 sensor by Sensirion. Unlike cheaper sensors, this sensor directly detects CO₂ molecules, instead of doing an inaccurate estimate from volatile compounds.
This monitor has a manual calibration function, to calibrate against outside air of 420 ppm. Other monitors often use the SCD41 automatic mode which is flawed if your sensor does not see fresh air regularly. Those devices will calibrate against the incorrect level!
The airQplot device will not produce invalid data if it is in permanent high-concentration CO₂ air. Hence, it will not give you a false sense of security like other devices do in this case.
The CO₂ measurement is affected by barometric pressure. That is why airQplot comes with a pressure sensor to adjust for that. It will constantly update the CO₂ sensor unit with the current pressure level for better results.
The current CO₂ level is shown in text, but there is also a traffic light that immediately shows you if the air quality is GOOD, FAIR or INADEQUATE.
A red light goes on? Open a window or door! A green light is showing? rest assured knowing that your home is well ventilated!
The airQplot has a dual-screen OLED display for a total of 256x64 super-high-contrast pixels. It is always crisp, with deep black and a bright graph. The screen is bi-colour with a yellow status line and a blue graph.
The device is controlled by a RISC-V micro controller.
This is the best CO₂ monitor available. Period. You can get cheaper units, but not better units. There is no need to pair a phone to see the graph, as the graph is shown in crisp colour on the unit itself. You can see CO₂ trends over short and long periods. With the manual calibration and barometric compensation, you get the highest quality data.
This includes 1 fully assembled and tested airQplot device.
Not included: This device needs to be powered from a USB-C charger. Use a wall-charger and USB-C cable to power the RISC-V controller at the bottom right of the unit.
Not included: This device comes without a case. Do not place this device on a metal surface, like a PC case, or it will short circuit.
This device needs to be calibrated to outside air. You need to redo the calibration if you switch to a different USB-C power supply, or if the monitor consistently reports sub 400 ppm values.
