The LittleArm 2C is a 3D printed, Arduino-based, desktop robot arm for STEM education and hobbyists. The 2C is the second generation LittleArm. It has been engineered to be more rugged and simple to assemble allowing younger roboticists to work with it confidently. Improvements include the addition of bluetooth-control with smart devices and resigned parts to make assembly more intuitive.

So many of the robotics kits out there are convoluted and poorly designed, making them hard for kids to get started with, particularly young kits. Additionally, from the maker perspective, most of those arms are made with laser cutters, a tool that most of us do not have in the garage. The LittleArm was designed to be a 3D printed arm that was easy enough to put together that kids as young as six could do it, and if a maker want to build one from scratch they can.
There are now other 3D printed arms in this scale available in the world. We have designed a kit that is crisp and tough using 3D printing. We have also worked very hard to make getting started with the arm very easy. Everything, from our basic android app, to building the arm on top of arduino was based on that core principle of making it easy to build a robot and learn from it, without getting frustrated.

Slant was originally founded as a contract product design firm, but has since moved to just developing internal products.
