This is a sensor. Basically designed for atmospheric environment control working outside. The sensor has I2C interface, with interrupts pins.
• The board can be driven between 1.8 V and 3.3 V.
There are two separate sensors on board. The first one is Infineon DPS368 pressure sensor miniaturized Digital Barometric Air Pressure Sensor robust against water, dust and humidity. The second is Texas Instruments HDC2080 high accuracy , low-power Humidity and Temperature Digital Sensor with internal heater. Both sensors has a good oversampling rate and very reasonable sensitivity.
I made it because of my full dissatisfaction by using BME280 in my Iot projects intended to work outside. This sensor can properly work for a long time in around dew point air, cleaning itself by internal heater. Sure, you free to use it in your project.
• Operation range: Pressure: 300 –1200 hPa.
• Temperature: -40 – 85 °C.
• Pressure sensor precision: ± 0.002 hPa (or ±0.02 m) (high precision mode).
• Relative accuracy: ± 0.06 hPa (or ±0.5 m) Absolute accuracy: ± 1 hPa (or ±8 m)
• IPx8 certified: Temporary immersion of 50m for 1 hour
• Consumption- 1.7 μA for pressure measurement, 1.5 μA for temperature measurement @1Hz sampling rate, standby: 0.5 μA.
Humidity Temperature sensor. • Relative humidity range: 0% to 100% Humidity accuracy: ±2% (typical), ±3% (maximum) • Temperature accuracy: ±0.2°C (typical), ±0.4°C (maximum) • Temperature range: Operating: –40°C to 85°C Functional: –40°C to 125°C • Consumption - 50na sleep mode and 300-500na operation mode. • !!! Cleaning current consuption (internal heater) 70-90ma!!! Be carefull don't connect to any GPIO directly.
I could only claim about stable work with ESP8266. I haven't checked it with other SOCs or boards. I've prepared a small library for this sensor, but if you need full sensors functionality please use original sensors's libraries.
