634 RING COUNTER is an analog synthesizer module available as a PCB/panel set for DIY construction. It is a counting module with CLOCK and RESET inputs, 16 gate outputs, and 2 clock divider stages.
Like all 600 series modules, 634 RING COUNTER is 20hp (101.3mm) wide. Knobs and panel jacks align to a uniform 20.32mm spacing grid. Power and mounting specifications conform to “Eurorack” standards. PCB construction is single-board and through-hole. Panel is black FR-4 and so might have some minor blemishes from the manufacturing process.
Numbered (1–16) jacks are gate outputs (0 to roughly 5v) that go high in sequence at the rising edge of a signal at CLOCK that crosses a 1v threshold. Additionally, the /4 output goes high when 3, 7, 11, or 15 is high (i.e., the upbeat or offbeat if 634 is used as a sixteenth note counter), and the /8 output goes high when 5 or 13 is high (i.e., the backbeat). LEDs indicate all gate statuses. A threshold crossing signal at RESET returns the count to 1.
Please consult the "bill of materials" for construction notes before ordering.
