The roscram01 is a configurable memory expansion for the rosco_m68k retro computer (sold separately), capable of expanding your memory with 1, 2, 3 or 4 whole megabytes of fresh RAM!
Someone once famously said that no-one would ever need more than 640KB of memory, and we all know how that turned out. Your rosco_m68k comes with a whole megabyte of on-board RAM, but if you want to do more with your computer, such as running more demanding programs or processing larger data sets, then you'll probably find that a RAM upgrade is just what the doctor ordered.
Just like the rosco_m68k itself, this is designed to be easy to solder, and no special skills or equipment are needed! Simply grab a regular (ideally temperature-controlled) soldering iron, some solder (we like lead-free 1mm diameter) and have at it!
Where supplied, all components are brand new and of the very highest-quality we can get our hands on.
You will need a rosco_m68k - if you don't yet have one, you can get one right here from our Tindie store!
You don't need any special software or additional hardware to use your new RAM expansion - your rosco_m68k is all set to support this as soon as you've soldered it up.
