A USB C Splitter that allows the user to use USB A for data while simultaneously connecting to a USB C Power Delivery(PD) fast charger. I personally find this useful for charging my phone in the car while using Android Auto or Apple Carplay, but it could also be useful for software development or any other situation where you need your phone plugged into a computer or similar device for data that is not capable of fast charging. Please read full description.
Some devices (mainly older Google Pixel phones) will connect to Android Auto and charge at the same time but they will not fast charge due to software limitations or other factors. They may even say fast charging but actually charge slowly. If your device or a similar device is under the charges slowly category, please don't buy unless you want to experiment and see if you can get it to work. (This is not a complete list. Many phones that are not listed will work and some will not work)
Not working/Slow Charging(5V .5A):
Must be used with USB C Power Delivery compatible charger and PD compatible USB C to C cables. For now I recommend Anker Powerline cables. I'm doing more testing to find other good quality cables. Any cable that supports USB C Power Delivery should work, but the durability of the Anker Powerline seems better than other cables I've tested. The majority of complaints that I've gotten about the board not working have been simply related to bad quality USB C cables as Amazon is flooded with them. Please only use this board with high quality cables from a trusted brand that support USB C Power Delivery otherwise you will have a lot of headaches.
Any USB C Charger that supports Power Delivery should work. No USB A charger will work, so please do not buy this thinking it will work with your Quick Charge charger.
Any micro USB cable that supports data will work, many micro USB cables that you get for free with power banks and such will not work because they are data only. If you're not sure, just get any micro USB cable from Amazon that supports data.
There is a Facebook group for sharing your setups, compatible devices, cables and chargers. Please look here for ideas, more information or asking questions. https://www.facebook.com/groups/1112713559207705/
The case was formerly a $5 add on but it's now included as almost everyone was opting for it and the case provides protection during shipping. The case is not designed to be removeable so please don't open it as it may damage the pins holding it together.
It is possible to ship but quite a bit more expensive than the usual $15, please message me if you're still interested.
