An ultra low power PIC processor board that runs a user C application for years on a small battery. Includes a battery charger that charges from either a solar panel or AC adapter. Provides 10 watts (other versions available) of regulated +5V, +3.3V and +/- 12V. On board digital IO, I2C and Analog to Digital converter.
Analog design is complex and there are no other "Off the Shelf" solutions that integrate the hardware and software for battery powered embedded systems projects. Custom magnetic components are required for simple tight flyback regulation. The units is a software driven charger that can be used for various battery sizes and chemistries.
Extensive internal software and bootloader all user written C applications to be downloaded and run over top the power control system. An internal RTOS schedules internal tasks and provides sleep function for the user C application. Using the sleep functions a C application can run with 125ms wake ups and only draw 100ua of current.
