What is it?

This is the fingertip pulse sensor that is used with our Easy Pulse board. Based on our buyers' feedbacks, we are now also providing just the sensor as spare parts. This sensor fits on the tip of a finger and consists of an IR transmitting LED on top and a photodetector on the bottom side. The connections to the LED and photodiode are brought to a standard 3.5mm stereo audio jack. The details of the pins are described in one of the pictures posted above.
