Open Source Scan Converter is a low-latency video digitizer and scan conversion board designed mainly for connecting retro video game consoles and home computers into modern displays. This is a DIY kit containing a bare PCB and a couple of the more difficult to acquire parts. All of the remaining parts should be freely available from distributors like Digi-Key or Mouser. A full Bill of Materials can be downloaded here
Note that this is a very difficult project to build. It is highly recommended to use a reflow oven or hot air reflow station to solder the two large QFP chips that have center ground pads.
Parts included in this kit:
Bare PCB. ENIG finish. Matte black soldermask.
U3: IT6613E HDMI Transmitter
U11: IRM-V538 IR receiver
J1: Female HD15 (VGA) connector
