A kit of parts to replace the original PCB inside the ZX Spectrum's modulator and provide a Composite Video Output through the original rear connector.
I designed this to make it as easy as possible for people to modify their vintage Spectrum's to work with more modern display technology.
It provides three different options for various composite display types. Simply choose the option that works best with your display and fit the relevent components to the board. Then simply follow the instructions (downloadable below) to fit the board inside the old modulator screening can.
You will need good soldering skills and a high wattage soldering iron, at least 40W to remove the modulator screening can from your Spectrum and perform the modification. It is recommended that you read the instructions prior to purchase.
If you require a complete replacement for the modulator, please see my PCB design at: https://www.tindie.com/products/16991/
