Say hello to your new best friend.
BOB-303 is a simple biped robot made for the Raspberry Pi Zero. It has 6 degrees of freedom, room for a camera and ultrasonic distance sensors. It is designed to use off-the shelf parts from the hobby store. The head opens like a box for comfortable prototyping.
BOB-303 was created because I needed a platform for my robot project that didn't break the bank. It is a way to use high end robotics software on a simple robot for learning purposes.
It is simple, cheap, environmentally friendly but still very adaptable. It's potential uses are:
and much, much more.
The kit comes in three versions:
Note: You will need some way to add power. There is no battery included. You are encouraged to recycle batteries from old devices like phones or to use a wall adapter.
BOB-303 is work in progress and will be constantly updated. Information about your robot can be found on http://personalrobotics.eu .
BOB-303 is open source and you are invited to build, change and improve the design as you wish.
BOB-303 is not a toy and should only be used by experienced makers.
