My friend Brian generously gives away a custom NAS box twice a year. He was unhappy with the air flow in the Silverstone DS380B case. It has two large fans pointed right at the drive cage, but there's a huge gap on the side, and that gap is the path of least resistance for the air.
These ducts are CNC cut from sheets of 1mm thick carbon fiber. It is the same stuff I use on my FPV miniquads. It is sturdy stuff, and it can take a beating!
The carbon fiber ducts are attached to your 120mm case fan using 3D printed brackets.
