What is it?

Code: 1602 Designed to work (for normal incidence) as High Reflective Mirror for Mid & Long wavelength (cca. 500 - 700nm) and Good Transmission for Short Wavelength (cca. 400 - 500nm). Why did you make it?

This optical part can be used in 3 distinct application categories, depending on the assembly in which it is used: - Dichroic filter: very good transmission for short wavelengths (blue + green + yellow) and blocking (by reflection) of long wavelengths (orange + red + IR); - Dichroic splitter: an incident monochromatic beam will be divided by transmitting short and medium wavelengths and reflecting long wavelengths; - High Reflective Mirror: (R > 99.5%) for long wavelengths (orange, red, IR). The exact transmission values ​​can be determined from the graphs in the photo gallery. For each wavelength, the exact reflection values ​​can be determined from the formula R[%] = 100 – T[%].
