What is it?

The filters are made of optical filter glass and are mounted in an anodized aluminum frame, being compatible with 1.25 inch eyepieces. They block parasitic emissions of mercury (street lighting) and natural Air Glow. These astronomical filters are ideal for the Moon, Mars, Jupiter and the Sun but also for galaxies and intergalactic "clouds" with h-alpha emission (656 nm).

Note: Observation of the Sun can only be done using an additional, appropriate protective filter!.
