What is it?

This specialized Lunar & Planetary Observations Filter selectively attenuates specific wavelengths that cause glare and reduce image sharpness, providing a more detailed and high-contrast view of the Moon and Planets. It is also very suitable for the Andromeda galaxy! Key Features: Regarding the Moon & Planets it is Superior to Neutral Density Filters: Unlike neutral filters, which uniformly dim all wavelengths, this filter selectively reduces scattered and unwanted light, resulting in superior contrast enhancement.

Regarding the M31 Andromeda Galaxy: Its unique property of transmitting all wavelengths in the visible spectrum in a very balanced manner makes it particularly useful for observing galaxies, which also emit in the entire visible spectrum, highlighting the emissions of hot stars but also the main spectral line of Hydrogen H-alpha (656.28 nm)
