This is a terminator for the auto-addressing line on BriteBlox LED marquees. It also serves another important role: Sick of having to jury-rig a jumper from spare headers & loose wire, or having to find and fumble with female-female cables, just to connect two male pins together? This 2x6-pin jumper shunt is your solution.
Instead of being a single jumper shunt, this item brings six of them lined up next to each other in one single, convenient package. If you use this with single-row headers, you can use the exposed connections on the shunt with much more readily-available male-male cables to jump any pins you desire. If you use this with double-row headers, each "column" will connect to the corresponding "column" in the other row.
It is a professional and convenient solution for the terminator required to support the auto-addressing feature on BriteBlox LED marquees.
Here's the 2x6-pin jumper in action. Note the green wire used to jump the two pins on the far side of the Displayboard. It's a standard wire from a wire jumper kit. Note the wire is bent because it is actually long enough to span all six pins if the user wishes to adjust it later.
At this time, you will need to provide your own wire(s) if you wish to jump any of the pins together other than between rows.
