It means: how to set up a CPU, how to connect memories, how to connect peripheral chips, and why to connect...
This computer is a "demo construction": A computer, based on 65C02 CPU, with 8 kB of (EEP)ROM and 32 kB of RAM, a serial port and a 6522 VIA chip (2 parallel ports, timers, serial communication - added in Issue 4). All should be as simple as possible. And here is a result.

You can buy a kit as well as the assembled and tested machine.
The kit contains:
- CPU 65C02 (R65C02 or equivalent type)
- RAM 32kx8 (62256 or equivalent)
- Optional: EEPROM 8kx8 (AT28C64 or equivalent, programmed or empty - select the proper variant, or NO EEPROM)
- UART (R6551 or equivalent)
- VIA 6522
- Decoder 74138 (HC or HCT)
- Gate 7400 (HC or HCT)
- Crystal 3.6864 MHz (CPU)
- Resonant capacitors 22 pF
- Crystal 1.8432 MHz (for serial communiction)
- Push button
- Diode (1N4004 or similar)
- A printed circuit board (with soldering mask)
- Assembly instructions
The kit DOES NOT contain:
- Resistors (1x 10k, 1x 330R)
- Electrolytic capacitor 10M
- Filter capacitor (8x 100n)
- Pin headers
- IC sockets
Power supply (5V/1A) is not included.
Soldering equipment and basic tools (knife, multimeter etc.) are necessary to assemble the kit!
An oscilloscope and/or the logic analyzer (logic probe) is not necessary but highly recommended to find problems when occurs.
