This board has a 2.1mm DC power input jack that accepts 6-24 VDC input and powers a Raspberry Pi Zero as well as up to 5 DC solenoids. 5 GPIO lines from the Pi can be used to switch the solenoid power on or off. The input DC voltage is the supply voltage for the solenoids. The switching MOSFETs for the solenoids are rated for up to 2A of continuous current for each. The onboard 5 volt buck converter can supply up to 2A of current for the pi.
The board comes with a 40 pin female SIP header, but it is not soldered to the board (to facilitate letting you choose which side to mount it on). Connections for the solenoids are laid out as standard .1" headers, but connectors are not included.
I designed this board for a solenoid driven chime clock.
