Quite expensive stuff huh ? What if I told you there is a better while cheaper option... Rflink is a huge improvement of RFXCom: multi-protocol (433MHz, 315MHz, 2.4GHz, 868MHz) compatible with 100's of home automation devices. Once you taste it, home automation finally makes sense ;)
It is a must have to start with wireless Home automation. Many systems are compatible out of the box. You can make your own for quite the same price and a few hours of work... but I preassembled and pre-flashed this kit for you. This kit is based on open hardware and is RFLink (freeware, not open source anymore) "compatible".
Pre-assembled, pre-flashed just plug USB in and you are ready to work with it. If using Jeedom or Domoticz, you will have to add new hardware. It is very well integrated with theses two ;)
More information about supported device list, protocols and stuff at RFLink website. Please consider supporting the devs as they are constantly adding new supported devices for free, and may help you. Weight: 120gr.
This one is enabled with 433MHz and NRFL2401 making it compatible with the list below. You can add a ESP8266 and follow a tutorial if you want to make a LAN-RFlink, that can be accessed on your local network.
But also (more expensive ones):
By the way, it is compatible with my 433MHz sensor board, and 433Mhz sensor kits so that you can make your own cheap devices.
