Introduction

This is a bare Audio Spectrum Visualizer PCB board with all basic components and headers included. The 2 MSGEQ7 ICs and Arduino Nano board to complete the kit are not included.

Basic soldering skill is required to work with this board as it is designed for through-hole electronics components.

Parts Included

1 x Bare JF Audio Spectrum Visualizer Board
2 x 12K resistor
2 x 22K resistor
2 x 200K resistor
2 x 33pF capacitor
6 x 0.1uF capacitor
2 x 8 pin IC socket
2 x 3.5mm audio jack
2 x 15 way straight header

** NOTE: 2 MSGEQ7 ICs and the Arduino Nano board to complete the kit are not included.

Purchase the MSGEQ7 ICs only from reputable sellers such as at SparkFun

received the item it looks good will be putting it to gether

Need to put it together and add the micro and do some evaluation i just receive the ics for it it gonna be a good progject got all equipment to test it have video/ audio analizer to check out its a vm700 tecktronitic regards beto pancho robert kessler have a good day

Great board work but have problem

Hi very fast shipping 5day to Switzerland.
Good card but with a problem of pcb + tagging for the Vcc and the - for the ground it was reversed I almost to grill my component by plugging it is at the connector where there is the i2c output the SDA is SCL is in order but the power marking has been reversed. The rest is in order

Peace of mind

If you buy this you are either too lazy to build up the example circuit from the spec sheet of the MSGEQ7 or it is more economical for you. For me it was both. The board does what it advertises, in a neat little package. I soldered pin headers to the bottom of the board, so I can plug it onto existing arduino nano mother boards which have a double row of pin sockets. Overall very positive. Documentation is somewhat lacking.
