SA809-Rx consists of walkie talkie and DTMF decoder, it works with walkie talkie to succeed long range wireless control. Any walkie talkie with DTMF function in the market can be used as transmitter.For example, the GP338 of Motorola. When SA809-RX receives the signal of transmitter, it will decode and compare with the password preset before. The high current mosfet will be driven to output if the input signal are verified. SA809-RX is very high security with 1—10 digital password and 400—480MHz frequency channel. All the parameters can be set freely with our PC software . It can achieve 5—8Km easily with higher output power walkie talkie, and widely used in the application of industrial control, smart home, etc.

Nice little UHF receiver/DTMF decoder & momentary switch

Using a UHF transmitter, you can remotely have the SA809-RX send from 3.3 volts to 6.0 volts ( up to 4 amps) through a circuit for 3 seconds. You cannot change the momentary pulse from the fixed 3 seconds, nor can you deviate from the voltage range, unless you use the output to drive a relay with a different voltage across it.

You program the DTMF tone sequence that the unit will respond to and the frequency (400—480MHz) via a NiceRF website downloadable Microsoft Windows based program. Using the software, you can also set a timeout value up to 30 minutes where the unit will not respond to the DTMF sequence. The unit is programmed via a standard USB cable. You must use their program to configure the unit. The documentation could be better, but the nice people at NiceRF quickly responded to all of the questions that I emailed to them.

The unit is very compact, sturdy and reliable.
If the functionality meets your requirements, then this is an amazing little unit.
I personally would love it, if the unit could toggle the output high/low via 2 sets of DTMF tones instead of the fixed 3 second pulse.
