ColourSnow is designed as a wing for Adafruit Feathers. It is also a kit to practise QFN soldering by hand.
It has 19 independently controlled RGB LEDs. They are driven by an IS31FL3746 driver chip in QFN package. This chip has the I2C interface for programming.
The connection required is I2C interface (both SDA and SCK), 3V3, and GND from a Feather development board.
Check the short video clips at Twitter.
There are a lot of Adafruit Feather or Feather-compatible development boards. You need one to work with ColourSnow. Feather boards usually work with CircuitPython or Arduino.
There are also example code for this at my Github.
