Another version of my best seller developing board ESP32-ADB, with ESP32-WROVER, which has larger PSRAM (4MB). The fundamental configuration is same as the original ESP32-ADB, which consists of high-resolution DAC (PCM5102A), OLED display, USB-UART, and Lipo charger.
I've known the existence of this big brother, ESP32-WROVER but eventually, I bought several ones and wanted to tackle with this new monster.
As same as original ESP32-ADB

Professional grade high-resolution DAC TI's PCM5102A is on-board, connected through I2S with WROVER
Lipo charger onboard. Lipo operation or USB bus power operation is switchable by the onboard jumper.
FAQ about this item
MCU of original ESP-WROOM-32 and ESP32-WROVER are the same one. (ESP32-D0WDQ6), meaning same computation power and the same code/binary can be executed. Just difference is the amount of main memory. If you have experienced a shortage of memory or have some ambition to make wonderful something, ESP32-WROVER can be the candidate. BUT, if you want to enjoy just web-radio, Bluetooth speaker or even Alexa, ESP-WROOM-32 (original version) is still a better choice.
When we just compile at esp-IDF or even Arduino IDE without the option, the code will run over SRAM inside ESP32-D0WDQ6 (512kB). Latest esp-idf has 4MB PSRAM option in menuconfig and we can activate PSRAM. Indeed I am also beginner of PSRAM usage and you will find good information at ESP32 forum and also we can ask question there. Several details can be found at this link.
This is simply due to the price difference between WROVER and WROOM of my purchase. Sorry about that...
