ARM based Wifi module (RTL8710) with CMSIS-DAP just in single board. After setting environment, we can program and make IoT thing as we wish by very popular Arduino language.
Programming Cortex-M3 is in general not easy for beginner. But wonderful open source well-made Arduino implementation of RTL8710, RtlDuino is released on github. I understand this environment has a very nice possibility of making IoT thing in very easy way at world standard ARM architecture. But not as same as ESP8266, we need some programmer (CMSIS-DAP or J-link) and I quickly made CMSIS-DAP embedded prototyping board .
We don't need any extra, just connect USB cable is enough.
