This product is the second revision of the Flash print, originally designed for and sold to the model train crowd. Because of this, the print is designed to be able to take a wide variety of input voltages. 5 of the I/O pins have a 430 Ohm current limiting resistor connected in series making it possible to connect LED's directly to the PCB.
The print is sold with all relevant pads exposed for testing and programming (GND, VIN1, VIN2, 5V, PB0-5). After programming/testing the print can be cut out and the final size is 13.5mm x 13.5mm (0.53 inches x 0.53 inches). The PCB has a thickness of 0.6mm (0.023 inches) and a maximum height of 4mm (0.157 inches)
The pinout is as according to the image below. Please note that the pins PB0-4 is connected through a 430 Ohm resistor.
The input voltage from IN1 and IN2 is first rectified by the MB6S and then regulated by the TLS810A1LDV50. Please note that the minimum AC voltage depends on how much current is being drawn from the 5V line. Also, please read the datasheets from the supplied links and read about their maximum rations as to not exceed them and damage the components. The maximum output current from the 5V regulator is input voltage depended.
The Attiny85 is capable of running at 8MHz with the internal oscillator.
This print can deal with battery voltages from S2 all the way to S7. This makes it ideal as a ultra lightweight LED controller or data logger for drones/other RC.
